A little about me:

Being the youngest of six, I am pretty laid back and open. Although I can be serious and thoughtful, I love to sit back with a comedy or adventure movie and enjoy seeing the good guys win. I love to laugh and appreciate a sense of humor. I am creative and don't mind making a mess doing it...probably why I love art and gardening.

I tend to fall in line with the definition of an introvert, where I do like being with people but tend to need time to recharge. Also tend to be a very private person; I have a lot of people I know but only a few deep friends.

I am deeply loyal, encouraging, and supportive with my friends and I very much look forward to a romantic relationship where I can be that for him and him for me.

Christian dating: My Ideal date:

A man who loves God and seeks Him in all he does, who earnestly seeks after his savior and cultivates that relationship. A man who can laugh and has a sense of humor. He appreciates the absurd yet loves to read, discuss, and is curious. Someone to worship with, sing hymns with, and discuss the sermons, our books, and our days, our frustrations, our joys, and what we laughed about. I teach science and would hope to find someone who loves and appreciates God's creation as much as I do (or at least willing to listen to me wax poetic). I also want to find someone who reflects the gentleness my dad showed us. I find that I am most attracted to men who have a passion for something and are willing to learn

My Christian faith:
I love God, He is my Savior, Redeemer, and Friend. I am constantly surprised at what He does in my life and how He reveals Himself to me. The more I learn and grasp His grace the more I am stunned with Him. He sought me and redeemed me, I am a sinner, saved by His grace and grace alone. I became His in 6th grade and He has brought me such peace and joy it's rather amazing. I teach at a Christian school and have fallen in love with teaching science with a Christian worldview. If I had to choose a scripture, I think "and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Jesus Christ" would embody my goals in life and teaching
