For starters, I am a devoted father of three incredibly amazing kids who are constantly keeping me on my toes and challenging me in ways I never expected (ages 10, 8, and a very precocious 7). Combined with being a career Soldier and finishing up the last two classes of grad school, my life is hectic at best. However, when not wearing the uniform, bashing out some paper or trying to find yet another elusive hair tie, I’m very much a kid at heart and love the simple joys of life.

I suppose I’m an “old soul” in that I’m extremely conservative in my values and honor the importance of chivalry. Despite the military and law enforcement background, I’m fairly soft-spoken and not someone who is quick to argue or care much for the opinions of those outside my family and close friends. I’ll also admit to being a hopeless romantic and someone who’s day can be easily made brighter by a simple kind word or a smile.
